PLAYER ELIGIBILITY & PROGRAM PHASES

Properly registered with USA Hockey for the 2024 – 2025 season
Players register for HP 14 tryouts.
Every tryout participant will receive 3.5 hours of ice time.
Phases must be paid before player is allowed on the ice.

Phase #1 Tryouts ($110) Hibbing Fairgrounds Arena
March 17th – 24th

Phase #2 Skills ($225) Hibbing Fairgrounds Arena
March 31st – April 15th

Top 30 players from each district will participate in 10 hours of skills training lead by the district coaching staff.

FINAL TEAM ROSTERS AND ALTERNATES ARE DUE TO THE PROGRAM DIRECTOR BY THURSDAY, APRIL 17TH AT 9:00 PM

Once rosters/alternates are submitted, alternates may be added to another District’s roster and are no longer available to their home district.

Phase #3 Seeding Games ($300) Held in Bemidji
April 19th

8am vs D15   (Boys 14)
1pm vs D16 (Boys 14)
 

Phase #3 Spring Festival (Duluth)
April 25th – April 27th

Districts will play two (2) Seeding Games to determine match-ups for Spring Festival. Districts are responsible for scheduling the ice, referees, EMTs, and Minor Officials. MN Hockey will cover these expenses. Groups below:

D2, D8, D9

D3, D4, D6

D5, D10, D11

D12, D15, D16

Festival: Duluth, MN
Arena: Mars Lakeview Arena

Teams will play three games determined by the outcome of the seeding games. Each team will play one game each day: Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
